things for people

I drew a picture of the Hogwarts coat of arms, and used it to make a card for a friend's 21st. I had fun. :3

While I'm at it, I also drew this a little while ago for a friend as a late christmas present.

They both seemed to like their pictures. So, yay. :)

howl's moving castle

I drew Howl's moving castle.

It's one of my favourite studio Ghibli films. :)

sleepy dreamers

I have a friend in a pretty great local band called Sleepy Dreamers (www.facebook.com/sleepydreamers), and he recently asked me to do some drawings for them to use on their facebook page. 

I did some. Here they are.

 

collaborations

Over the last few months, my friend Jane and I have done some collaborations as part of some of her uni assignments.

The first three were embroideries she did of my triangular pattern, on some vintage doilies. These were put up at the exhibition we did together.

The next three were done only last week - she painted three watercolour hands, and I drew little houses sitting in them in fine liner. 

We make a good team.

Besides my initial trouble in getting my things to actually stick (they ended up being hooked, blue-tacked, sticky taped and nailed to the wall), I was pretty happy with how they all looked.
