Not much to say, just catching up on posting these. There was one thing though. I felt like getting out of the house the other day, and I just took a walk to a cafe not too far from my house.
I ordered a peppermint tea and sat sipping it, but my mind was still racing and I really needed to calm down; staring out the window wasn't cutting it, plus I think I caught a few people looking at me strangely for my vacant stare.
So I pulled out my notebook and a pen and concentrated hard on drawing a pattern like the one below. It wasn't very good, and I stopped after a few layers, but it helped. It didn't necessarily clear my head, but it slowed down my thoughts and seemed to help me order them, which in retrospect is even better.
So yes, it appears these drawings do have a use other than keeping my hands busy, which is nice.
